Trade show banners, custom banner printing, large format banners and more…
One of the most important aspects of printing and design for large format banners is color. Color schemes attract attention, get your message seen and remain memorable as a brand and identity to potential customers and clients. Choosing which colors you will use to represent your company is very important. You want something strong and memorable but don’t want to choose a color palette that’s generic or repetitive of other identities.
Luckily, there are tools to help you create great color palettes all over the Web. British designer Devin Hunt created an easy online color selector that will let you fine tune hue, saturation and brightness all online for when you want to pick and adjust colors but don’t have Photoshop available or simply don’t want to boot it up. Color.hailpixel.com will even save the colors you like next to each other, allowing you to make a color palette and grab the codes easily.
For a more in-depth color selector that allows you to see various tones, similar colors and color mixes of your selections, there’s the web app Colllor. Another helpful utility, especially when printing marketing materials for retractable banners, is the DeGraeve Color Palette Generator. Simply upload the image you plan on using and this app will create a custom color palette for you based on your photo.
